Baby fromage blanc: the super-smooth dessert for the first few months

Baby fromage blanc isn't like regular yogurt, and that's exactly why it exists. Its texture is smoother, creamier, and more melt-in-the-mouth than classic yogurt. Its composition is tailored to the specific needs of babies and young children, in accordance with current regulations.

It joins the food diversification adventure from 6 months onwards, complementing breast milk or infant formula. A new texture to discover, a new pleasure to explore.

And because every baby is different, the range also includes plant-based versions without cow's milk protein: an equally delicious alternative to vary the pleasures and broaden baby's discoveries. The same smoothness, the same standards for composition, a texture to explore at their own pace.

Baby fromage blanc vs adult yogurt: the real differences

One clarification before comparing: the following applies to our milk-based fromage blanc, whose composition meets specific regulatory requirements for foods intended for infants and young children. (Our plant-based fromage blanc, on the other hand, follows a different recipe, without cow's milk protein.)

The first difference, and a major one: protein content. It is deliberately lower than in adult cow's milk yogurt. This is no coincidence; it is a formulation choice in accordance with current regulations, adapted to the needs of little ones. This is also why it is recommended to wait until around 3 years of age before offering "classic" dairy products, and to favor products specifically designed for babies until then.

The second difference: fat content. Milk-based baby fromage blanc contains more than plain or low-fat adult yogurts. Once again, this is intentional and regulated to meet the nutritional needs of young children. It also provides calcium, which is necessary for children's normal growth and bone development.

Varied flavors to take baby's palate on a journey

Good Goût fromage blanc comes in several versions, designed to open baby's palate to a variety of flavors, and always with no added sugar:

  • Pear vanilla: the safe bet, smooth and familiar, which reassures during the first attempts.
  • Banana blueberry: to introduce red fruits in a melt-in-the-mouth way.
  • Strawberry blackcurrant: two red fruits together, for palates that like a little zing.
  • Coconut mango banana (plant-based): for afternoons that feel a little like a holiday.
  • Rice peach raspberry (plant-based): the sweetness of rice and summer fruits, without cow's milk protein.
  • Oat strawberry banana (plant-based): oats in a melt-in-the-mouth version, to vary the cereals.

No colorings. No artificial flavors. No added sugar, contains naturally occurring sugars. Only short recipes, developed in France, compliant with the strict requirements for infant food.

How to incorporate fromage blanc into baby's day?

Fromage blanc fits naturally at the end of a meal or as a snack. You can offer it plain, or pair it with homemade fruit compote, unsweetened fruit purée, or a fruit pouch for those days when you're short on time (we know how it goes).

Its smooth texture makes it an ideal companion from the first few months of food diversification, when baby still only likes very smooth foods. And since it comes in packs, it fits easily into the weekly routine (because yes, sometimes, on a Monday evening, you just don't want to think about it anymore).

To create balanced and varied days, take a look at our baby fruit pouches and our organic baby meals. At breakfast, our breakfast pouches get the day off to a good start. And if baby still drinks milk, our range of organic infant milks remains the essential nutritional foundation until 3 years.
