Follow-on milk, the follow-on preparation to support diversification from 6 to 12 months 

At 6 months, your baby's diet changes. Diversification begins, the first purees and cereals make their appearance, and nutritional needs change. Breast milk remains the ideal food for infants, and breastfeeding can continue beyond 6 months. When breastfeeding stops or is supplemented, follow-on milk 2ème âge is suitable for infants from 6 to 12 months, in accordance with current regulations. 

Why is cow's milk not suitable before 12 months? 

Cow's milk is not a viable alternative to breast milk or infant formula before the age of one. Its protein content is too high for an infant's still-immature kidneys, the amount of vitamins and minerals is unsuitable, and it does not provide the nutritional guarantees your baby needs for their development. Between 6 and 12 months, if you cannot or do not wish to breastfeed, a follow-on formula, formulated in accordance with regulations, can meet these specific needs. Our follow-on milks: Biostime and Inostime

Biostime BIO Plus 2ème âge is formulated with organic Normandy milk cream, collected through a short supply chain from 35 farms of the Coopérative Isigny Sainte-Mère. Its formula contains DHA for vision development up to 12 months¹, vitamins A and C which contribute to the normal functioning of the immune system, vitamin D for normal bone development ², bifidus lactic ferments and GOS fibers. N°1 organic infant milks in pharmacies for 6 years³, it is aimed at parents looking for a high nutritional quality organic formula*, inspired by science and nature. 

Biostime SN-2 Bio Chèvre 2ème âge offers an alternative based on organic whole goat milk, mainly from Saanen goats raised outdoors ⁴, ⁵. Naturally present SN-2, for a lipid structure inspired by breast milk, with a mild and delicate taste. It is suitable for parents who want a goat milk-based formula, without palm oil, with the same nutritional rigor*. Note: this formula is not suitable in case of cow's milk protein allergy, an indication to check with your pediatrician. 

Inostime LPN HMO Plus 2ème âge is the new generation conventional follow-on milk. A pioneer in the addition of LPN in France (lactopontin), a protein naturally close to that present in breast milk, it also includes HMO 2'-FL, the majority oligosaccharide of breast milk, combined with bifidus lactic ferments and GOS fibers. A high nutritional quality formula*, made from Normandy milk3 collected up to about 50km from the Coopérative Isigny Sainte-Mère, without palm oil.

Our organic follow-on milks comply with organic farming regulations, in addition to those applicable to infant milks. In pharmacies or online, each 800g box allows you to prepare 25 bottles of 210ml.
