In the face of shortages, Biostime supports you in finding solutions

Since the beginning of the year, the infant formula market has been experiencing an exceptional situation. The health crisis linked to the cereulide toxin has led to a sharp increase in demand, including for our product ranges. 

At the same time, we are facing supply tensions for certain certified organic raw materials, which are essential for the production of our Biostime formulas. 

At Biostime, the quality of our products remains our priority: despite these constraints, we do not wish to compromise on our requirements and manufacturing standards. 

The combination of these various factors is leading to temporary shortages that we deeply regret.         

Our teams and our industrial partner, the Isigny Sainte-Mère cooperative, are fully committed to restoring supplies. 

Several actions have notably been implemented: 

• Adjustment of our production planning to increase the quantities of infant formula available. 
• Close collaboration with the Isigny Sainte-Mère cooperative to speed up the restocking process. 

Despite all our efforts, some certified organic raw materials are unfortunately no longer available, and this will continue until the end of 2026. The various affected products will gradually return to stock between late 2026 and early 2027, depending on the products and distribution channels.

And in the meantime, what is the solution?

Biostime infant formulas are certified organic, unlike Inostime, whose infant milks are conventional.
